Vienna: Fun things to do and eat/drink
Vienna is an amazing city with so many fun things to do. There are also so many nice restaurants to eat and bars to drink at. This guide covers it all!

PARLIAMENT BUILDING, VIENNA
1. Day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia

If you have major wanderlust or fancy a change from the Austria scene, one of the best things to do is a spontaneous day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia. The tickets are €36-€39 each round trip, and with the train being only 59 minutes, it is so worth it. Bratislava is unlike any other city we have been to in Europe.

BLUE CHURCH, BRATISLAVA
2. Attend the ballet or the opera at Staatsoper

Watching a show at the famous Vienna Staatsoper is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The building is so marvellous in itself and tickets with restricted view are as little as €24 each. Well worth it! Although, if you want the best experience, book a ticket with centre view of the stage. Restricted view was a little challenging on the spine!

3. Catch a classical music concert

Vienna is known as the birth and home place of Mozart, so classic music is rooted in the culture. There are many concerts all around the city in different architectural buildings that play classical music, have a google and see if you can make any.

4. Enjoy a ride on the historic ferris wheel

Vienna hosts the oldest ferris wheel in the world and you can ride on it for as little as €14. We didn't do it because Emmy literally hates heights but
